Baby Bunnies, Texas, Graphs

Bunnies
What a week!!  This week we discovered four baby bunnies on our playground.  They were so young that their eyes were not open yet.  Mommy rabbit had run away (we decided we must have scared her when were came out to play).  The bunny man came to save the bunnies and I am happy to announce that they are warm and safe.

Texas This week we have been studying Texas symbols.  We located Texas on the map learned about the mockingbird, the flag, the pecan tree and bluebonnets.

We took a picture in front of a pecan tree by the school.

 We found real pecans!!

A handful of pecans and shells.

Graphs
This week in Math, we reviewed graphs.  We learned about how to create a graph and how to analyze it.  Yup…we used the word "analyze!"

"What sport do you like to play most?"

 "How do you get home?"

"What is you favorite part of the school day?"

"If you had an ouchie, would you rather have a band-aid or a kiss?"
