Star of the Week, Nocturnal Animals, Pride Rally, Red Ribbon Week, Text Messages

Star of the Week
This week our Star of the Week was a friend that wants to be a police officer when he grows up.  He can to protect us from "from the bad guys."  Our future is safe with him protecting us!!

Nocturnal Animals
This week in science we have been studying nocturnal animals.  Nocturnal animals are animals that sleep at night and are awake during the day.  We love learning about these animals!!!

(We have owls flying in our room!!)

We compared bats and birds using a double bubble map.

Pride Rally
This Friday at Pride Rally, we earned lots of awards.  Kindergarten earned the Golden Star from music for the best behavior.  One friend earned the character award from showing trustworthiness.  Our class earned free coupons for Arby's for having excellent attendance.  Please keep coming to school and being on time!!!!

Dancing before Pride Rally starts.

She is so trustworthy.  We can always count on her to have her homework, be kind to a friend, and help others.  What a great example of TRUSTWORTHINESS!!!

We earned a free kids meal for excellent attendance!!
